Bunnahabhain, which means ‘mouth of the river’ in Gaelic, first came into existence in 1883. Bunnahabhain is the only distillery on the Isle of Islay to use pure, spring water. Drawn from their namesake, the Margadale River. What sets Bunnahabhain apart is their signature unpeated style, and the rich, complex layers of each cask matured in their Bay on the shores of the Sound of Islay.
