Smooth, creamy and exceptionally malty, Monkey Shoulder Original was created to make perfect whisky cocktails and has been made for mixing ever since. If you’re looking for a Scottish whisky that packs a bit of character and personality, then this is the tipple for you! Monkey Shoulder is Scottish slang for the muscle tension that the malt men suffered back during the time when whisky was still made by hand.
This whisky works very well over ice, neat or even in cocktails. Put your nose in the glass and you’ll smell zesty orange, vanilla, honey and spiced oak. Take a sip and you’ll taste mellow vanilla with spicy hints. That smooth, malty and fruity character is bold enough to stand out in a drink and balanced enough not to overpower it.

**A surcharge may apply if delivery is to an area classed by our couriers as 'remote'. We will notify you of the addition so you have the option to proceed.
Please Note: Delivery to some postcodes will take 2 - 3 working days by courier. Some hampers to these areas may be sent with Royal Mail using a next day parcel service.

How quickly will my order arrive?
We can deliver your order on a date of your choice to most UK destinations. Please select your Preferred Delivery Date at the checkout. We will make every effort to ensure your order is delivered on time but occasionally deliveries may be delayed due to adverse weather or other conditions beyond our control for which we will not be held responsible. Same day dispatch is available if your order is placed before 12 noon. No deliveries are made on a Sunday or Bank Holidays.
We will send you a notification email when your order has been dispatched.
Hampers containing chilled items cannot be dispatched on a Friday for Monday delivery, as they would be held in a holding depot over the weekend.
For Saturday delivery, orders need to be placed by 12 noon on the Friday at the latest. There are some restrictions as to where Saturday deliveries can be made (parts of Scotland, Ireland and the Channel Isles) but please feel free to contact us if you wish to check.
We always try our best to dispatch every order following the above guidelines, however during extremely busy periods dispatch times may increase by up to one day.
How carefully is my order packaged?
We take great care in packaging your order using the necessary materials according to its weight, size and how fragile it is. If you order a wicker hamper or magnetic box, it is shipped within a double-walled cardboard outer.
Our carefully chosen couriers use segregated transportation and a dedicated area for sorting by hand to ensure maximum protection for your hamper. Your order is identified as fragile at every stage of the delivery process, segregated into separate cages so it is isolated from other items, and delivered to a separate sortation warehouse where they undergo a dedicated hand sorting process, rather than going on a conveyor belt, which can cause damage.
